Hi, My name is T-Pog, I am from the (fictitious) planet Vulcan. I am the hypothetical child of Spock and T'Pring. I do not exist in reality, I exist only in possibility. And this portal of mine is all about possibilities! The possibilities of imagination and intelligence in a universe that provides infinite scope for their growth (for real). My intention in helping create, along with a couple of Earth friends of mine, more than 35 blogs/sites of the T-POG.com network is to augment our fascination with the world of beauty and wonder, the world of science, philosophy, literature, thought and creativity. To amplify knowledge, to simplify our understanding of the world, and to imply wisdom in it — such is the general direction of my efforts. My father, Spock, is one of the most famous aliens known to humanity, and was popularized through the Star Trek TV series. He is half-Human, half-Vulcan. My mother T'Pring was his old flame, a fond childhood friend. As depicted in the Star Trek episode 'Amok Time', my dad returns to Vulcan seeking the hand of my mother, but alas by that time she has changed her mind and goes for some dodo. And thus, I remain merely a possibility, the one that could have been! Despite my non-existent existential status, I have not lost heart, nor hope, nor does the fire of curiosity in my soul ever abate. I have now simply become the primordial urge of nonexistence to emerge into existence, consciousness, life and light. Powerful positive possibilities and potentials! I am never at rest.
